what is the maximum capacity of the venue?

Our indoor space comfortably accommodates up to 90 seated guests and up to 150 guests for a cocktail-style or mix-and-mingle event.
Where is Eventmrkt located, and is parking available?

We’re located in the heart of Newmarket, Ontario, just off the downtown strip. We are surrounded by various, free, public parking areas which offer ample space for both standard vehicles and larger party buses.
Can we bring in an outside caterer?
in-house & off-site catering services
To ensure quality and consistency, all catering is done in-house. We offer full-service catering and can work with you to create custom menus tailored to your event, dietary needs, and theme.
what are the setup and tear-down times?

Our standard event packages include both set-up and tear-down windows:
– Set-up: 2 hours prior to your event
– Tear-down: 1 hour after your event
If additional time is needed, we’re happy to discuss options in advance.
Are there any additional fees we should be aware of?
tax & gratuity specifics
All venue rental packages are subject to 13% tax, and all food and bar services are subject to 13% tax and 18% gratuity. Additional fees may apply for menu customizations.
do you allow open flame candles & shots?
yes & yes
Of course! We allow tapered candles or votives in holders. Nothing beats the real thing!
Yes! Shots are permitted after 9:00pm with select bar packages, once the majority of the food service is complete 😉
What’s included in the venue fee?

Within our venue rental fee we include all service staff, tables, chairs, charger plates, silverware, glassware, dinner napkins and cocktail tables with linens. If you wanted to include additional décor items such as table runners, candles, table numbers, umbrellas, etc., let us know and we can share our complete in-house rentals brochure with you. The setup of in-house décor items also come included with our rentals.
Already have décor in mind? You’re welcome to bring in your own decorations and/or vendors to setup additional décor, no fees would apply.

Yes! You can have the same delicious food we offer at EventMrkt right in your own home through our catering branch EM Eats! Our services range from pick-up options, delivery & set-up options as well as full staffing and bartending services.
