When it came to choosing a venue for my own wedding, as a wedding planner. EventMrkt felt like the perfect fit. We had just 40 guests, which made the day feel so intimate, and they welcomed that vision completely. I even had my dog off leash throughout the night — because he’s family too — and the team made sure it was never an issue.

One of the biggest reasons I chose EventMrkt was because there were no noise restrictions. I knew from the very beginning that I wanted a lion dance, and having the freedom to celebrate in a way that truly reflected us was non-negotiable.

The space gave us the backdrop we wanted: flexible, personal, and warm. It never once felt like we were trying to fit into a venue’s rules — instead, the venue worked around our vision.

Their wedding packages included the venue, food & staff, a coordinator, dj, officiant, & florals. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing! THE FOOD IS LITERALLY THE BEST THING WE HAVE EVER TASTED!

The wedding felt very intimate and cozy but upscale and sophisticated at the same time. There are so many different spots to take photos around the area which was a must for us. I seriously could go on and on, we will be having every future family event here and I will reccomend this place forever!

My husband and I had our wedding at EventMrkt with about 50 guests, and it was truly the most magical day of our lives. We recently hired EventMrkt to cater our corporate work luncheon, and I can confidently say they were the highlight of the entire event.

We would give them more than 5 stars if we could. The team is incredible – so thoughtful and sweet, we felt truly special and not just another client or event. We booked the wedding package with venue/food/bar/staff, coordinator, DJ, officiant and florals so we didn’t have to worry about a thing – these vendors are all incredible and work so well together.

Our wedding was only a week ago but we’ve already heard rave reviews from our guests and every single one has mentioned how amazing the food is and how attentive the staff were. The space is small enough to feel intimate but large enough that there’s room to spread out.

This was the second time this year I ran the event here, and everything was perfect. The location is excellent for people coming in all across the GTA, and the team there is always so kind and helpful with any request we had. With 25-30 people there, it was perfect for gathering in the main space, then breaking up into groups around the room and outside for workshopping.

Sam was so easy to work with and was really accommodating to our unique needs (something that is so hard to find in a wedding venue)! Each one of the staff was so friendly and kind all night and the food was mind-blowing good. We got so many compliments on it during our reception and even afterwards via messages!

They provided extra touches such as candles around the room and helped us decide on a furniture set up that would work well for our needs. We did minimal decorating but the venue itself is so naturally gorgeous and the outside is stunning. The venue has garage doors so people could easily move from inside to outside as they pleased…

Basically we couldn’t have pictured a better night and so we are so grateful to their team for making it happen!

The venue is surrounded by a beautiful waterfall, Fairy Lake and lots of greenery. The food by Chef Michael blew us and all of our guests away. The staff worked hard to ensure every guest was well taken care of throughout the night.

I was the Maid of Honour for a wedding here and I have to say this was one of the best venues I have been to.

The venue itself is stunning. Inside was very beautifully prepared. The florals were so fresh and absolutely beautiful. The view of the outside gardens, little river and the bridge with the waterfall was the perfect background for the entire night. The staff were the most attentive, kind and efficient staff I have ever had the pleasure of being served by at an event. I think the longest I waited to get a drink at the bar was 30 seconds! Food was insanely delicious and the servers knew exactly who liked which finger foods the best during the cocktail hour and would find them to make sure they had enough when a new platter would come.

The food was INSANELY delicious- highly recommend the smash burger slider canapé. The atmosphere was phenomenal, the staff was fantastic, the food- unreal. This day could not have been better. Thank you so so much eventmrkt! We will be back!

My new wife and I just celebrated our wedding September 6. The venue was incredible. The staff set up and arranged the space to our plans. The food was absolutely top shelf. The kitchen staff really knocked it out of the park. All my guest were over the moon on the variety and flavors of the appetizers and mains. From the start, Sophie was fantastic to work with. She was super organized and quick to respond. She answered all of our questions throughout the process and went above and beyond as our day-of coordinator, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The food was incredible thanks to Chef Michael! Our guests were raving about it all night. The lamb was so tender, the chicken was perfectly juicy, and our vegetarian friends said the cauliflower steak was the best wedding meal they’ve had. Big compliments all around!…The space was ideal for our intimate group of 65 guests.

Overall, we can’t recommend EventMrkt enough. Huge thanks to Sophie, Andrew and the rest of the team for helping make our day so special!

My daughter and son in-law hosted their wedding here yesterday and it was absolutely beautiful.

Most weddings that I have attended over the years have had at least one issue that went wrong, but with EventMrkt I can’t think of a single one. The food was amazing, the venue is gorgeous but what really makes EventMrkt shine is its staff, especially the wait staff. They were warm and welcoming, prompt with serving drinks and food. There was always at least one nearby and you never had to go searching. I hope their staff are well paid because they’re worth every penny and then some.

We had our wedding at EventMrkt just last week and had a fantastic experience.

The team was very accommodating, communicated well through the entire process and gave us some fantastic memories of our 40-person family ceremony.

What settled us was their pricing. Not only was the price point itself fairly attractive, but the venue was completely transparent from the start about costs, sending us a detailed PDF breaking everything down. Most venues we spoke to were not nearly as detailed, and gave a higher price as an initial quote along with very vague language about what “extras” might cost us.

We really appreciated how easy this team was to work with.
